Spam-vertising At The Store
So you've just been through the supermarket and picked up your weekly groceries, negotiated the screaming kids, arguing couples, super-slow grannies and the visual advertising feast that adourns the shelves - you get to the checkout and 'BAM', you're getting hit by more advertising, this time moving on the conveyor belt below you.
Frank Cox, president-CEO of EnVision Marketing Group, the firm who patented the system to print digital, photo-quality ads directly on the conveyor belts said:
"...a store with eight to 10 checkout lanes, well, you're talking about 100 square feet of wasted ad real estate."
